Akzent ll by Absatz

Without any doubt, Absatz is one of the few sires who had an enormous impact on Hanoverian breeding after the Second World War He gave the modern Hanoverian the characteristic and incomparable Absatz type which this breed was envied of for a long time and by which his breed still profits in the second and third generation even today. A noble head with an impressive face, ideal neck and saddle position, as well as light-footed paces combined with a good shoulder are the characteristics of his offspring and his most important sons – such as Admiral l and ll, Aktuell, Argentan or Akzent l and ll. Dam sire Weidmannsdank xx was one of the influential thoroughbred stallions of the post-war period in Hanover. With regard to the number of approved stallions and main studbook mares sired by him he was the leading thoroughbred sire of Celle after the war.
Before Akzent ll came to Oldenburg in 1985, he gained a great reputation in Hanover as a private stallion (Amselhof Stud) and as a stallion (on lease) at the Celle state stud in Altenbruch in 1980. The proven state stallions Acapulco, Akut and Alonso date form this time as well as the Grand Prix Dressage horse Amazonas win of the German Dressage Derby in 1987 and best haoverian dresass horse of 1988. At his new home Akzent ll continued his successful stud career. His son Aczidos was placed 4th in the federal Championships of riding horses in 1989 and top priced lot of the Verden sales. Donna Akzenta was reserve champion mare at the Oldenburg premium show in 1990 and all my Love was second of her class at the federal show in Verden.
